Re: Crashes and Auto Save Issues with Files and CTG Layers

Hii Dean, the autosave does work 90% of the time. However, I have also given TvPaint full disk access manually now, hopefully that solves the rare errors on that end. The camera layer reappears out of nowhere and especially after I reopen TVPaint or switch between projects.

Crashes and Auto Save Issues with Files and CTG Layers

Hii, I’ve been encountering some issues with TVPaint and wanted to check if anyone else has experienced similar problems or has suggestions. Auto Save: Sometimes the auto save function gives errors or fails to auto save altogether. This has led to a few data loss situations, especially during longer...

Re: My TVPaint feature requests

Thank you Thierry for helping me out with these. Also it's funny that I am able to drag images directly into the image library, I thought it's a new feature that is introduced. Excited for the Storyboard and upcoming updates on V12. Thank you Daniel for providing the tutorials on the matter.

My TVPaint feature requests

Hello, I have been using TVPaint since the last year now, and it has become my favourite tool for animation and even illustrations. I wanted to share a few things that I would like to see/ have in it. 1. A singular box asking for the FILE NAME and LOCATION before the export settings would be amazing...

Tvpaint 12 Pro Deactivated?

Hello,

I was setting up OBS today for my recording and suddenly TvPaint 12 Pro started to quit with the message that it has been remotely deactivated. Now when I start it, the following image comes up.

I am running this on a 2018 Intel MacBook Pro, it has been running fine until today.

Re: TVPaint lagging on default screen resolution

Hello Nagarjuna, so the lag is different according to the resolution you set on your tablet's screen? Google tells me that your tablet model has a resolution of 1920x1080 according to the XP Pen website but it might be mistaken. Do you change the tablet's resolution from the XP Pen driver or from w...

TVPaint lagging on default screen resolution

I am fairly new to TVPaint and wanted to know why is it lagging on my screen when it is set to 2560x1600 (Which is my screen tablet's default) however it runs smooth on 2048x1280. I use a normal 4k project resolution which I think is fairly standard now. I would really love to use TVPaint on my nati...

Re: Getting A Different Brush stroke Than Aaron Blaise

Thank you, I have found out that it is similar to Aaron's brush just set to half the size. I have tweaked the brush to get a similar result. Thank you so much for helping out and suggesting. I'm glad to read that you found a solution that works for you. I think it is the way with most of the pen an...

Getting A Different Brush stroke Than Aaron Blaise

Hello, I recently bought TVPaint and watched Aaron's tutorial about it. He uses the in-built pencil and the one from the Tool Preset. However, I am getting a very different result from him, I have checked the exact settings and even the canvas resolution of course. I am using an XP Pen 16 Pro on a M...

Re: Photoshop ACTIONS equivalents in TVPaint

I just bought Toniko's action set and they are really amazing and makes storyboarding a lot faster. I would like to see this happen too. A TVPaint version of this and similar ones would be all I need honestly.
