TVpaint won't open video files

Post by Latte »

Hello, hello! I've had this problem with TVpaint for a long while, but it hasn't really been too big of an inconvenience till recently.

First things first, my computer specs

* Windows 10

* 64-bit processor

* 16 GB of ram

* TVpaint 11.0.0, standard edition

* Wacom 13HD tablet. I believe it is the most recent drivers (not sure how to check)

Additionally, I have experienced this problem on my laptop as well, which is all the same in specs except it ran Windows 8.

I've also have done a reinstall on an essentially new computer (long story short, triple simultaneous hardware failure on main computer, making me replace all memory), so this problem was persistent between essentially 3 computers.

I've created a step-by-step as to where the problem lies: http://imgur.com/a/3v3bB

This seems to be persistent throughout all forms of video files. I've tried MP4, AVI, and MOV, and none of them work.

GIFs seem to work fine to import however. Not sure if that's relevant information.

Thank you for your time, and if you need any other information, please inform me.

Try updating to the most recent version, 11.0.6 , to see if that solves the issue.

It's a free update:
