Using Windows version on an iMac to run TVPaint

I'm very close to finally purchasing a TVP Professional license, but I have a question that I hope someone can help me with: I use an iMac and my understanding is that TVP works better/offers more options in Windows than OSX, so I want to purchase the Windows version if it's usable on a Mac. Does anyone out there run TVPaint while operating in the Widows option of OSX? If so, can you tell me how it works for you?

No it's exactly the same software.

Btw, when purchasing you don't need to chose between Windows and MacOS, since you receive both software versions.
